Larry BohlenLarry Bohlen is the founder and president of Green Leaf Gold, a triple bottom line gold mining company. Larry is working to make Fair Trade, ecologically-mined gold available for ethical jewelry and investment. His interest in ethically sourced gold was sparked by a shopping expedition for his wife’s engagement ring in 2010.

Larry is a former NASA engineer, an environmental advocate, and eco-entrepreneur. He helped repair the Hubble Telescope, worked on the Cosmic Background Explorer, protected farms and forests, and while working at Friends of the Earth, discovered an illegal type of genetically engineered corn in the American food supply. He also guides development of tests to detect food contaminants through NaturalCheck, LLC. Larry lives in Baltimore with his wife Susan, dogs Ella and Shadow, and a recently planted garden.
